Education

A native Texan and fifth generation resident of Denton County, Andrew was raised in Lewisville, Texas. He graduated from Liberty Christian School in Denton. Andrew went on to attend Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and minored in Real Estate.

A leader on campus, Andrew was elected class president his first two years and later elected the Student Body President during his Junior and Senior years. Recognizing his talents, the university tapped him to become a college recruiter for new students to the university, where he traveled across the state informing students, parents, and counselors about life at HPU.

He went on to receive a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of North Texas, one of the nation’s highest-rated programs for public administration.

Public Service and Achievement

Andrew began his career in public service at the Town of Addison. For six years Andrew worked in many different departments, including the City Manager's office, Finance Department, and Human Resources. This gave him great insight into inter-governmental affairs, planning and zoning, budgeting processes, performance measures, land-use issues, and public employment law.

Noteworthy is the fact that Andrew researched the history of the Town of Addison and authored the book Addison, Texas: A Pictorial History. Andrew also researched and wrote the Texas State Historical Marker application for White Rock Chapel, one of the oldest African American churches in Dallas County. He guided the application through the state approval process to the successful installation of a marker at the church.

Career Success

Andrew has been a successful realtor since 2001, when he earned the Rookie of the Year award at RE/MAX DFW Associates. Andrew has routinely been a top producer and was awarded the 100% Club for RE/MAX International. He has taught fellow agents numerous classes on achieving high performance and creating a referral-based business by providing excellent customer service. Andrew was voted one of “The Best Agents in Dallas” by D Magazine in July 2005.

Community Involvement

In addition to a thriving real estate business, Andrew is very active in community affairs and believes in giving back to the community. Andrew is a member of the Flower Mound Rotary Club where he has served as Chairman of the Community Service committee since 2001. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Greater Lewisville Family YMCA; the Board of Directors of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce; and a Trustee of The Mound Foundation, a group dedicated to the preservation of the eleven-acre wildlife area that is the town’s namesake. Andrew is on the Board of Directors of “The Center” in Highland Village; the Board of the LISD Lewisville Education Foundation; member of  Denton County Historical Commission; and member of Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors.

Andrew is also an alumnus of the Leadership Flower Mound Class of 2003 where he coordinated the class native tree planting project in town parks and open spaces.

Active Republican

Since college, Andrew has been politically active. He served as an intern at the Republican National Convention in Houston in 1992. He is a member of the Denton County Republican Men’s Club, where he has served as past Club Secretary and Membership Chairman.

Family and Hobbies

Andrew lives in Flower Mound with wife, Ginger (owner of a successful CPA practice), and their sons, Everett and Addison. The Eads family attends the First Baptist Church of Lewisville, where they are active as care group leaders in their Sunday School class. Andrew's hobbies include volunteering, collecting antiques, and researching family genealogy.
